The thinking behind the shed less treatment is simple logic - the more hair you remove from your pet, the less hair you need to remove from your sofa, your clothes, your floors, your carpet, your car and your home!

Typical pet Dog Grooming systems merely wash and comb your pet's hair without addressing the underlying problem which literally is the underlying problem - your pet's undercoat!

It's not the hair you see, it's the hair you don't!

Your pet's undercoat can become a dense mass of loose, dead hair, and the major source of shedding. The shed less treatment was developed to grab and remove (not cut) undercoat quickly and easily.

Neither the specialised tools or the process harms your pet. All natural de-shedding shampoo and de-shedding solutions are great for promoting a healthy skin and coat on your pet.

After losing 1 of the 2 black labs I had in September 09, I was anxious about leaving the remaining one in a kennel on her own. Unhappy with the previous kennels I had been using, I looked and found A1 kennels just outside Doagh Co Antrim. I was was able to bring my dog up and meet Nigel and have a look around with my dog Amber, to make sure I was happy before I booked her in.

My 1st booking was over New Years Eve 2009 and the service was excellent. I then left Amber for a 2nd time to go away for 2 weeks in April (my flights were delayed for 10 days) and A1 Kennels had no problem accomodating me in keeping her for extra time: Another great advantage is you can keep in touch with A1 Kennels by text message while you are away!

Being newly constructed the kennels are very nice and clean and unlike other kennels and do not smell! Also with under heated bedding and excellent space for the dog to move about. What I particulary like about using A1 is the fact they are a small family run business and only take in a limited number of dogs meaning Amber got a lot of attention and walks. Nigel and his wife Barbara are very friendly and are obviously animal lovers themselves. They have a lot of time for customers when they are dropping off and picking up their dog and understand that pet owners can get upset, unlike the previous boarding kennels I used.

I would highly reccomend A1 Kennels to anyone who like me is worried about leaving their pet, as I am confident my dog was looked after very well. I picked her up this morning and she was not distressed or agitated at all-opposite actually I think she would have moved in there! A1 by name-1st class by service.
